Sue Hansen is a national speaker, trainer and consultant, specializing in helping people become better people-it’s her mission and her passion. With an undergraduate degree in Psychology, post graduate work in business, certification as a behavioral analyst, a growth curve specialist and her many years experience in business ownership Sue’s clients have access to a broad and fresh perspective on issues facing the workforce and its’ leaders.
Sue’s consulting contracts put her in touch with leaders in a variety of industry sectors experiencing business challenges within their organizations that fall into 3 categories: people, profits and processes. Often, one of these gates of focus will cause chaos if not properly addressed. Successful executives must be able to balance the technical knowledge necessary to run a business with the emotional side of leadership that inspires and motivates others. Leaders may need to shift their focus-depending on the maturity of their company. Sue helps executives navigate these dynamics to position themselves as successful leaders running successful companies.
Sue and her husband are living their dream. Years ago, they decided that they would like to be in a position to care for their aging parents. In 1996 Sue and her husband purchased land in Colorado with enough space for both sets of parents. Sue lives her personal mission statement of “give more than you get every day” by giving to her family, volunteering and serving her community.
As a board member of the Black Canyon Foundation, Montrose Area Merchants Association and past board member of Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame and Black Canyon Boys and Girls Club, Sue believes in giving back to her community in a meaningful way. Other than her work-which she loves, Sue spends her time with her husband skiing, hiking, camping and hunting in the mountains of Colorado. She has 2 step-kids and 3 grand kids, all of whom make her life the best ever!
Sue is a member of the American Society of Training and Development and the National Speakers Association.
About Our Nana...
Our Nana Sue is smart, crazy, adventurous and funny. She is a tomboy and rather short. One of the funnest things we do with Nana is finding treasures. Sometimes we do this by picking up "trash" along the road by her house - we have found some awesome treasures!
Our Nana says she is going to kiss us until she's dead and whenever we see her she always kisses our face off. One time she even had lipstick on when she kissed us - yuck!!
Our Nana Sue is very smart and she would be great for any job you could imagine. We love her a lot and you will too!!
