  • Discover why communication is mission critical for change to be accepted
  • Learn to anticipate the objections and welcome them as a source of information
  • Learn to become a change advocate — even if you don't like it either

In today's business climate, if something's not changing it's probably dead. Whether the transitions are personal or professional change and our reactions to change have been characterized in various ways, most notable using humorous parables about mice and cheese supplies. Articles have been written, theories espoused and yet many of us still react the same ways to change. Most of us, if honest, don't like it one bit. This seminar will help you understand why you react to change like you do, what to do before, during and after the change, how to lead through the change and how to stay motivated and upbeat as well as motivating the team to levels of high performance.

Avoiding Personality Clashes at Work and Play

  • Learn how different “personalities” communicate
  • Discover the hidden secret to getting along with everyone
  • Never again let another person get under your skin

Perhaps you’re working with someone who is a bit too perky for your taste. Maybe the guy in the cubicle is just too analytical for you. That woman down the hall is just a bit too much, too aggressive, too direct, and too “in your face”. What about the cubicle invader who just won’t quit talking, talking, talking?

Welcome to the world of managing personalities in the workplace. No worries though - we can help decipher the wonderful world of diversity. Each “style” or “personality” or whatever you wish to call it, has its unique strengths and of course it’s limitations. The truth is we need all different personalities to get the job done. So instead of lamenting the differences, let’s learn to deal with the differences.

Could you be a: Dominant director, seeking to control and dominate others? Someone who gets and likes bottom line results and is less tolerant of the detail, process and people who are slow to make decisions…or are you: someone who is verbally adroit and expressive? Are you the consummate people person who actually loses energy  when assigned a task that requires focus and isolation? Perhaps you’re creative in the right brain sense of the word, and incredibly trusting (sometimes too much so)…or are you a: Steady Relater, a loyal, stable, team oriented person who loves to complete your to do list, but also likes to be with people, especially people you know well and  trust. You hate conflict, so you often try to accommodate others so you can avoid the nasty confrontation…but then again you might be a: Cautious Thinker and you are more analytical and linear than your counterparts. You thrive on detail, strive to be as thorough as possible and tend to be a critical thinker. You don’t appreciate others who speak before thinking and at times you will be seen by others as somewhat picky and critical.

Discover the uniqueness of your team, learn to thrive together and be productive!
